Speroni and delaney I feel are our most natural leaders and with speronis experience and level headed nature he could be a real anchor for the team if utilised properly I love Speroni but he’s certainly not a leader and by all accounts, Delaney is not a positive influence on the team.

Interesting , the opposite to Cabaye , who when he does not play we keep winning. We need to sell Cabaye then maybe we could use his wages to get a Jedinak type player , the McJedly midfield was better than anything that included Cabaye. Why let facts get in the way of an opinion. And I thought the Cabaye and McArthur combo got us to 5th place Dec 2015. Must have imagined it.

Problem was that when MacArthur got injured it coincided with the opposition sticking it to Cabaye over and over again. He couldn't and can't stand up to that. Since then we haven't really seen those 2 or any combination really succeed apart from McLedley v Mboro, Sunderland and Stoke but they were the 3 worst teams at the time. The MacArthur and Cabaye partnership either works better when we're in good form or the ascendency and/or when Cabaye and Puncheon aren't negating each other. I don't which is more a factor but they all contribute.

Perhaps it was time to go for Pardew but Sam's image of a tough man motivator, does not so far show any results on the pitch. His style is different to Pardew, who collected all the flack for team performance, now we have a man who transfers all the pressure on to the team, thus we see scenes with individual players being picked out during a match and clearly suffering. I cannot remember a less motivated focussed team here

None of us know what the dressing room is like and who are the most vocal players. Not sure the captain makes that much difference, not like in cricket. What is telling, and I heard many people saying this on Tuesday night, is that AP replaced players who seemed to really care about the club with high-earners who don't appear to.

That was the nail in the coffin for Pardew as far as I was concerned. Jedi is twice the man AP will ever be and will hopefully be back at he club in some capacity one day. It will be a travesty if he isn't.

I cannot remember a less motivated focussed team here Pardew collected all the flack? Where have you been? Frozen in Carbonite? He took all the credit and deflected any of the faults. Apparently Sam took some of the blame for the 1st half but also stated the aiming for long balls wasn't his instruction, which I think he needed to say because of the anti long ball fans. I think his honesty is going to be needed now. No excusing the inexcusable anymore. I think the players have difficulty following instructions. Apparently they couldn't follow Pardew's endless A4 sheets for individuals and preferred on hands drills, hence the call for training rather than sheets to players hoping it'll be cohesive, which it was far from. Sam may have made a change in approach too many v Swanybut tat could've all been addressed with 1 player in the whole in the 1st half instead of 4 off Benteke on the corner of the box and none of them hiding behind Swansea shirts in the 2nd half. That is a lack of confidence to want the ball and training training training drilling drilling drilling, which is what they're going to get for 10 days now.

Pardew not wanting leaders like Jedinak ect makes sense due to his arrogant personality. Pardew wanted to be the top dog in the dressing room. Couldn't have players like Jedinak rallying the team instead of him.
Yannick Bolasie - Glenn Murray - Wilfried Zaha Most exciting attacking trio at Selhurst Park in years. |

Apparently he gave Salako a dressing down for speaking to them about something when he wasn't there. I know Salako probably shouldn't be there but that's beside the point. Actually I don't know why Richard Shaw isn't in there. Doesn't he run the kids at some level? I've seen him in full 2016/17 Palace tracksuit at a petrol station. Has more experience that's for sure shaw.
