that was classic BFCS bulls*** excuse, he laid the foundations for thwt excuse days ago...very clever of him. no way we were shattered, if we were we wouldnt have played with that intensity for most of the 2nd half. btw BFCS will keep us up, but it will be as attractive as the 18 stone ginger your mate screwed on pull a pig night.

I guess we will not have a choice in who we keep. It is all about how much the players can earn. If they can get more money elsewhere then all of them would move. It is more of a question of which players are considered to be a good addition for another team that will dictate who stays or goes.

Cabaye in the main has been a success and in Benteke we got the 15 goal a season PL striker we were desperately in need of. You can't have it both ways....unearthing these lower league rough diamonds for a bag of groats and a miracle happens once in a blue moon. It's up to the manager to manage the rest of the team's expectations when it comes to the disparity in the wages a marquee signing commands.

Probably more important is who can we afford to keep for the Championship - but its also not at that situation yet. 22 points from 18 games isn't impossible, and our run into March is pretty good in terms of 'point games'. Its really about how long it takes SA to work his magic. Which is why we should look at using the FA Cup match week as being about squad building and team repair, whilst a second string play Bolton.

Parish due soon on Talksport. Allardyce has been instructed to sell all players now to maximise fees and buy now for the championship. Deals to start happening early next week. He should be on in 15 mins.
