We pay decent money to watch Tomkins & Delaney pass the ball back and forth to each other and wait for Delaney to think "fck this" and hoof it up to Benteke who's got two massive guys on him? Yesterday the football was one dimensional, unintelligent and extremely boring. Watching men earning our annual salaries weekly walk around like they couldn't care less while we stand their week in week out giving 100% vocally from the stands.. I don't agree with the digging players out and shouting at them and shyte but can you blame people for not singing??? really? Who can applaud that load of shyte. Yesterday was probably the worst game of professional football I have EVER seen.

There's nothing wrong with losing when we've given our all. The problem comes when you have to watch Kelly gallop around like a fkin Donkey so scared of somebody passing the ball to him he makes no adventurous or thought out movements to aid our play. Or continually passing the ball to Zaha because he is the only player who can actually do something with the ball. Or watching Benteke roll around on the floor because we put him on a pedestal he didn't deserve because of two good seasons at Villa!!

Think people had every right to be frustrated.

There is a big problem @ Palace at the moment. Talking to somebody in the pub and they reckon that Allardyce went straight to the Americans and bypassed Parish. Is Parish meerly a "yes man" now?

I do hope that SA sits down with the squad and makes them read ALL the comments that have been made by disgruntled fans since last night.
It wasn't so much the defeat (although bad) but the way they allowed themselves to be defeated. Spineless and characterless.
I'd rather have stayed at home in the warm and watched Great Interior Designs! Maybe the team would have done too, then we wouldn't have been stitched up!!!

Completely correct. Self-fulfilling. So we're on a terrible run, injuries to key players, confidence shot, new manager, as a fan what do you do, try your best to support the club? No. clearly the better idea is to shout, swear, call the players c***s and suddenly pretend you know best.

I'd rather a half empty stadium of positive fans than a bunch of moody t***s that don't have a clue about football beaking off because they've got nothing interesting going on in their lives due to the fact they were born without brains.

I've got nothing against a bit of a grumble but it's gone too far, and it's been like this for a while. They can collectively do one. Fair weather helmets. Negativity never got anyone anywhere in life. Well maybe Victor Meldrew but even he isn't real.

(By the way the 'you' is not implying you are one of those fans )

They probably will "do one" when we are in the Championship next year. I have been a season ticket holder for the best part of 40 years. The display in the first half last night was beyond comprehension. For most of the half we had 6 across the back desperately keeping the might of Swansea at bay. People pay their money and are entitled to their opinion, no matter how that fits with your own views.

I have been supporting Palace since 1964 and last night, with Wilf's goal the clear exception - whose skills we won't have for another month now, it was a truly, truly abysmal performance, and I remember the days of our playing in the then Third Division which were fecking awful.

The atmosphere before the start of the game was flat. The laughable flickering lights as the team comes on makes for nothing but derision. The team is uninspiring despite the money spent on it. The core of the team which brought us up has been dismantled and quite possibly will not be replaced for another 2 or 3 seasons, if then.

People criticising individual players are always in grounds. Several seasons ago I heard one bloke having a go at Danny Butterfield, only for Butts to turn round and give him a mouthful back. It's part of football and always has been.

On the basis of last night's efforts I think Keith Millen should take a team of "reserve" squad and U23 players to Bolton and play as best they can, because let's face it they cannot do any worse. That would give the Fat Controller ten days to drill into the principle squad players the defensive qualities needed and we used to have.

Then move on from there.

I said the exact same thing to my son, Just drill drill drill for a fortnight.

the dignified don't even enter in the game

Highly unlikely.

99% of the fans agreed that Pardew was taking us down and the same percentage also agreed that although the football may not be as attractive Allardyce would at least keep us up.

It's not working yet but a few decent buys in this transfer window so that we can drop those too shellshocked to play effectively and we should start to pick up some points

99% really? I didn't hear the cheers of jubilation when he waddled out with that condom on his head yesterday??

Should have done a poll, would be interesting to know how people actually thought.

Pathetic as this sounds - I really hope with have now hit our lowest point in the season.

I was so angry last night that I barely got a few hours sleep, been in a mood all day at work and avoided my Brighton mates (who are on cloud 9) and the misses and kids are also suffering with my mood swings due to the stress of supporting Palace at the moment.

Perhaps I take things too seriously, but I can't help the passion for Eagles which is imbedded in me.

Hope it is not only me who feels like this - hence the Holmesdale to end my frustrations - thank you...
