She had plenty of evidence that she had a good life. She just couldn’t feel the life she had. It was as though she had cancer of the perspective.” Postcards from the Edge by Carrie Fisher Important point, whilst she was famous a Princess Leia, her acting career should really take a backseat to her literary work (which is quite remarkable) and a life definitely lived, if somewhat manically. Very few writers really can crack the experience of mental illness as well as she did, even those who have suffered from it.

When these people were born the amount of superstars known to the average person would have been about forty and only known through papers and magazines, in the early 1950s about 350,000 households had a television set so it's not hard to work out why, it is going to get worse especially with Simon Cowell giving us more and more of them, I expect next year to be worse and so on from now, simply because of the numbers of them. A valid point but the calibre of those that have passed this year is significantly higher than the norm.

There is an impressive list of films she saved

We will never know I think it's common misconceptions, i.e. people would associate members of the rolling stones as living a rock n roll lifestyle when actually it's what they are like in private. They probably have vegan diets and exercise regularly, probably haven't touched the white stuff for donkeys years. Then people you least expect, i.e. Whitney Houston for example who had a clean cut image are full blown coke heads

I'm wondering how Family Guy will explain the absence of Angela Ironbox.
