I just can't see any scenario in which Sunderland sell him this window. They'd have to be suicidal. Unless he goes on strike. Or the opposition agree to trade 24 of their 25 man squad for him, the Mackems would be crazy to let him go for anything less than £30m+ He is literally the only thing keeping them with a chance of staying in the league. West Ham are apparently willing to offer them £15m anyway so if he was going to go to either club, surely he'd go back to the Spammers, even with the Big Fat Sam influence?

Sunderland are rumoured to have upped their bid for Ulloa. now whilst thats obviously to shore up their striking options, could we not go all guns and let Fat Sam unsettle Defoe a bit and drag him here? Please. Pretty Please.
