And which clubs were they, pray tell? Chelsea? Man City? Were these clubs at the top or the bottom of the table? Were their percentage rates higher or lower than this 'paltry' 30% you so disdain? What is CPFC's current percentage under 'Super AL'? Was it 'exciting'???? Exciting yes. Ask yourself why he only gets to manage low end clubs. Again with the ridicule on here of anyone whos opinion differs.

Some people on here didn't want Roy either, but I think he managed England as well didn't he? Also not as much of a chancer as BFS, going to sue Panorama as well was he not? But he didn't after all I wonder why! We will probably stay up, but I thought we would under Pardew as well.

A lot of things in his favour, chances to learn from mistakes, get points on the board, keep the powder dry, fight another day/game. Nah, none of that, go hell for leather. Need we wonder why? How many times do pundits up and down the country put forum members as the reason a manager lost his job? Never heard it on MOTD, Sky, Talksport. Radio 5 or read it in the Telegraph. We were patient beyond what anyone anywhere in Britain would've had. Worst record in 92 pro teams.

Are you insane? Has someone dropped a huge Mickey in the SE25 reservoir? 'Big Sam's' brand of 'football' is about as exciting as a wet weekend in Clacton. Get a grip you very strange person/people.. Originally posted by fed up eagle
Exciting times ahead for Palace with Big Sam in charge. The guy can certainly play entertaining football but will add some steel to the team. It will be interesting to see who he brings in when the transfer window opens.

at the end of his contract everyone will be sick of Sam's brand of football and crying out for a more forward-thinking manager to come in and give us some inspiring football to watch. Ask the fans of any of his former clubs. He'll marginally improve our results, we'll plateau over the next season or so, and then stall.
