Interesting looking through this thread. Most posts seem to have got it right.

Season isn't over yet but I feel positive.

The only time it crossed my mind that we would go down this season was after the Sunderland game but a few weeks on and that game could actually be the game that kept us up. It was a real wake up call. I was quiet for a good few days after that.

England's loss , our gain.

4 wins on the trot. Anybody else still wants Pardew back ?

When appointing him was first mooted I thought he would keep us up but wouldn't do what was needed beyond that. I now freely admit that this was f***ing bollocks.

It now looks to me like the perfect fit - we've always played the way he does, no bulls**t, safety first, solid defence, disciplined and organised, target the opposition's weak areas and hit them fast and hard. Pardew tried to change us into something we weren't, and rather quickly, and the result of that was f***ing s***e. Sam has got us playing the kind of football we're best at and has got us playing it pretty effectively.

Sam has got us out of the s*** and is turning out to be a great personality to represent the club. Which he seems to have bought into he is great in the junior eagles press comference. Really made me laugh.
He always speaks intelligently and is clear in his objectives. He comes across as straight forward and no nonsense. I think that the loss of our coach was the start of Pardew slide. sams staff seem to be doing a good job. The players are fitter and playing to their strengths. In their correct positions the team is well drilled.Bring on Spurs lets av em.

Totally agree. Pardew forgot that with the players Palace have strong defense is the basis for the offense. Big Sam has brought that back with a vengeance. Also, possession without results is 9 tenths of nothing.
