Fat Sam is scum, I will never sing his name (no matter how much I love Bugsy Malone).

I would be utterly underwhelmed and a bit sick if Big Sam came to our club. I remember back to when Warnock came to our club, I didn't like him but was prepared to give him a chance. With Fat Sam, I don't think I could do the same. The only way I could begrudgingly accept if was as a temporary role to the end of the season - but then if he did ok he'd be kept on, so that won't really work.

I'd love to see if we could tempt Martin O'Neill.

Please not Alladyce.

I would love to see Mancini here (with Lombardo), but not sure it would happen.

I think Klinnsman would be eventful, whilst Gary Rowett is interesting but that fact he hasn't managed big time players is a concern.

A bit harsh but you are entitled to your opinion. He has never been a favourite of mine but if SP considers he is best for the job I will get behind him and support the team

At least Pardew was trying to make us play like a proper team, Fat Sam will turn us back into a lower mid table dull as West Brom team... perpetually scraping by and boring the f*** out of everyone.

And that was working so well. Can't believe someone who was considered good enough to manage England is not considered good enough for palace...

I agree if ''Big Sam''was good enough for England and SP says he is the Man for us then I'm happy to get behind him and give him a chance. We should be grateful, albeit at bit late that AP tenure has come to an end. Whatever and whoever comes they need to be in place quick as the teams needs urgent investment with at least three quality players to be source in this coming transfer window.
Lets unite behind the board and the team with whoever comes along!

Surprised by the timing, but not the decision. Would have thought he'd have been given the chance to lose to Watford before being sacked.

In terms of a replacement, a name that doesn't seem to be being mentioned but someone I'd take, Gary Monk. Has done a great job at Leeds this season, and didn't do too much wrong at Swansea (they've gone backwards since). Don't know why he's not been linked, even in the betting.

Not my favourite football man but probably a necessary
evil for us at the moment

With Pardew now gone we will be fine. LB, Winger and a striker in Jan is all we need.

Fat Sam people are saying will keep us up. We should be looking higher than that and he is not long term is he.

Mancini would be nice. Not Fat Sam or Coleman please.
