I dont think we played that well against United and Chelsea. Created very little in either game to suggest we had a chance of winning them. As soon as Chelsea scored yesterday it was game over. I dont think Chelsea got out of 2nd gear all game. Yeah , the last 11 teams Chelsea have played , once they scored it was ~ game over . Blame Pardew

I do think that unless we get a result of some sort against Watford that the Club will have no option but to let AP go.

He has this knack of always getting a result one goal worse than the other lot. 1 - 0 Chelsea, 2 - 1 United, 3 - 2 Burnley and nearly Hull, 5 - 4 Swansea. Actually managed to lose more goals to the s***e teams and fewer to the top sides. But mostly always one less than them. And usually by a goal late in the game. If we can nearly force draws against United and Chelsea we shouldn't be scraping them at Hull, fighting back from two down at the Stadium of Sh!te, or letting Llorente score twice in injury time. And I don't think it's a coincidence that four of these silly late capitulations have followed substitutions involving the removal of McArthur.
It's the way the game is set up though. Vs the big teams we've witnessed attack v defence drills. Watch the extended highlights v Man Utd and you'll see what I mean. Then watch the p1ss poor 2nd half v Chelsea loads are deluding themselves it was good. Then watch the matches v the dross and when Pardew actually has room to make an impact he makes the wrong calls, everybody is switched off defending and when there are points in the bag and an opportunity to just protect the points you see in games all over the world every weekend, he cannot do it or control himself or a game. Unless we are absolutely hammered against Watford, I think AP will still be here. Arsenal is another game like Man U and Chelsea where a loss is almost to be expected for teams like ikkle Palace. However if we lose against Swansea, no matter how well we play, I think he will be sent on his way. No inside info, just how I feel.

I have come to the conclusion that Pardew will be still here in December 2017. Incredible loyalty to a manager is one way of putting it!

Parish and anyone around their age were brought up watching football when managers were allowed to have a bad season on the proviso that the next would be an improvement. Last season was a good one overall so maybe that is why Parish is not getting rid yet? Edited by Kermit8 (20 Dec 2016 7.57pm)

Bolasie was always going to go to Everton.Townsend was the replacement.

Yeah , the last 11 teams Chelsea have played , once they scored it was ~ game over . Blame Pardew Yep, I will, along with chucking another valuable point down the p1sser v Man Utd we really needed. He knew Chelsea was coming up in 3 days time and had all the excuses memorised for post-Chelsea interviews yet gambled v Man Utd late on and got what you and he say was inevitable if we conceded. Facking 'ell. So don't try and excuse the bloke because this sh1t goes on and on every fr1gging month. He could've had MacArtur on for the rest of the Man Utd game to see out the point. JM was tackling in the very area Cabaye pathetically fell over near Pogba 3 mins before. People like you are defending his swill without thinking he puts himself in these situations by gambling with points and losing and wasting them over and over and overafvckingain. He's proving himself to be a right fool whilst the rest of the league quietly accumulate points on a regular basis. Oh look, another draw for them versus x,y,z and then a win a week or 2 later and you have a good average of points. Under super duper Al he goes for winning over and over again because he puts himself in that situation over and over again needing to make up for 3-5 goals shipped to the sh1t and no points to show from any of them. Unacceptable. God I want us to win every game but any win gives Parish reason to cling onto the hope this contract extension wasn't a big error. And you can sense fans losing enthusiasm to even be surprised or angry. At the moment I can't wait for this season to be over and hopefully this bad ending waiting to happen stopped.
