As a relative newcomer (2015) to this forum although a Palace fan since a long way back I don't know this Trolley people talk of and I don't know Willo. But I have to say to Willo that you are your own worst enemy by joining in on Clattenburg debates when you know full well the animosity it provokes on this forum. Why not stay away from Clattenburg threads altogether, that will ensure they don't turn into Willo bashing ones.

I have never said I live in Brighton.I do live on the south coast about a 30 min train ride from Brighton.Only moved here a couple of years ago.Moved from a location closer to Selhurst Park but used to live in Upper Norwood for many years. At the end of the day I don't need to go out of my way to prove anything to anyone.I have always said I would like to meet many of those on HOL, for social reasons NOT for proof reasons, and if there was a drink-up etc etc I would consider coming along depending on where it is held.Can be a long way from the south coast ! And YES I have supported the team since the 60s and I turned 64 last month. In my humble opinion there are certain characters in the refereeing fraternity that are in the business purely because they get a kick out of being a regular on TV and like to say that they associate with top players and top managers. Clattenburg is one of the current crop; he seems to spend his time gladhanding and ingratiating himself with the superstars and surprise, surprise his refereeing decisions always favour the superstar over the journeyman. As a supporter of a team who will never be able to afford a superstar I have never expected to get a decision from him and have consequently never been disappointed.
