Would not be happening with Jedinak sitting in front of what is now an exposed back four. Should have stayed as captain and leader on the pitch. Top class at dead ball situations defending and attacking. And he was sold for shirt buttons with no direct replacement. Bit slow, not the best passer, but replaced by Flamini who has played for 19 minutes. As I understand it the arrogant one wanted him out, and that is not a good enough reason unless you someone better is being brought in. I really fear for us in the next four games, Chelsea and Arsenal will rip us apart and Watford and Man U will be difficult games, could be 4 points in 12 matches, which is not good enough. I fully expect to see Palace bottom of the table by 2nd January. I think Pardew is right, this is a year of transition as we return to the Championship. Brighton on the other hand in the Prem next season. Not good.

Days when Scott Dann was talked up for England and folks on here were clamouring for him to be made captain. It's afunny old game No point being reasonable on this forum. You are wasted here. Far too much sense. Take up politics. Nobody will believe what you say, but it pays well......

Damo will likely be the next *fans favourite* to be passed on. It won't be nice, but if you keep all your favourites, the team will just die. When will so called fans stop thinking we can move on with old players? I even see calls for Jules to be promoted to the first team. Everyone at Palace loves him, from the board to the fans, but he has had his day. Move on.

Indeed. So replace him before moving him on. With something better.

I thought the third goal was horrendous. We let an average player like Livermore dance through our defence like Lionel Messi. In January i would replace all of our defenders because they are pants I dunno... I thought Cabaye was most at fault on that one. He got out of the way like a frightened matador.

I thought we were pretty poor except the last 10-15 minutes (why can't we play like that from the beginning?) Nobody ever seems to make a challenge. They just run beside the opponents player without attempting to win the ball. On several Hull attacks we had 6 or 7 men back & not one made a challenge. The Hull players ran rings around us. Cracking goal from Wilf. Even my Coventry City supporting Dad came round today & said "What a goal by Zaha" He never comments on Palace unless we lose. Will be tough mid-week against Manure. Mkhitaryan is injured i think & isn't he there in-form player?

Six exciting games on Saturday with teams that won getting three goals. If only Palace would move away from what I suspect is their scripted television role of making lesser teams look good. Would be a joy to see Palace start in the same way as Leicester did - when Man City visited us we got half way there - City's time wasting cheating was excessive. Yesterday, we again produced to the end excitement for armchair occupants - including the penalty ration of two per game being part stolen, and having our thug (according to referees)- needing to be corrected - status by two added yellow cards. I love to watch our lads playing with flair and winning - please can this happen on Wednesday and Saturday? COYP

I think in any other season, that result is acceptable. To have a bad day and finish 3-3 away is maybe even a good result, and excusable on some terrible decision making for their first goal (second yellow, and off). But in context of performance going back nearly 12 months now, its not acceptable, and that lack of form and consistency can find no solice in unlucky decisions, the first 12 months form and so on. To recently lose 5-4 and then to draw 3-3 in such a short space of time, surely marks the door as now being open for Pardew, and I think he'll have to get something from Man Utd and or Chelsea to still be in a job come Watford.

Townsend is living up to his record at other clubs and apperances, flourish at the star, and fade into mediocrity. Jules won't be getting a league start unless Hennessey is injured, he's been out too long now.
