Spurs the obvious candidates but wouldn't be too surprised to see Chelsea or City expressing interest if they are struggling with the homegrown quota next season.
We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold... |

Gotta remember he looks good because of the dross around him. He wouldn't stand out in a much better team than us. Dont forget that this "dross" has stayed in the prem longer than ever before. And with a s*** manager.

He's made a phenomenal improvement and having a phenomenal season. I've been a critic of his end product but things have clicked and he has the confidence to know he can do what he tries against a player. A lot less of the appealing for everything which is a good thing.

Wilf is almost priceless to us at the moment. He is playing nigh on the best football I have seen him play at Palace attacking, assisting, crossing, defending and Scoring! If I was part of our medical team I would want to transfuse some of Wilf's blood into Townsend in an effort to shake some enthusiasm into him up in time for United and Chelsea as the difference in those 2 at the moment is vast!

Maybe we should let Andros start on the right and see if he's more up for it? Wilf is hot wherever he play. Behind our penalty, an assist and a definite contender for GOTS! Hope he is not overexcited against his former club midweek, just don't try to beat United singlehandedly...

I feel it's not been fully acknowledged that he's added end product and a lot of consistency to his flair. Among the best in the PL now. Right up there alongside Ian Wright for me. Edited by Ginger Pubic Wig (10 Dec 2016 11.05pm) Oh boy , hes had a few very good games this season ~ Before that very very inconsistent , everyone said the same about Bolasie , what an amazing bit of business that was to get rid of him for 30 MILLION !! ~ Zaha is a good footballer yes , but still needs MUCH more consistency

Losing Bolasie and then Soure has upset the balance of the team, but playing one of your best out of position, to accommodate a sulking Townsend, is not the answer.

People are being way too harsh on Townsend. So far this season, things haven't worked our him in the way we'd all hoped, but that could change. He's still class, and it's up to AP and the coaches to get him playing to his full potential.
