I think he has become the player Manure thought they had bought. But as he didn't hit the ground running we got him back.

Didn't hit the ground running? He never got played, how the hell could he.
The only worry for me is if he has the big fish, small pond syndrome like Sigurdsson? If not he could go on to be a real star.
The biggest lesson learned from Wilf's career so far, is if you don't play people, you never find out how good they are for you.

He hit the ground complaining to the ref like a prima Donna 12 year old though, and that was the problem. He was a boy, not yet a man, taken away too early.

also, if he continues with this form hes a £50m player.

i ro beleive we could keep him at palace for years to come, he just needs to be paid in line with the top earners and tied down to a 5 year deal so as a club we hold all the cards to fend off and potential suitors.

also nowadays theres actually only a handful of clubs in world football that could afford him

Why would we sell him in January? We're in a relegation fight so it would be suicidal to sell your best player. I don't care what gets offered for him, we should IGNORE ALL BIDS. Hell, why not sell Benteke whilst we're at it!!!

It would, but realistically there's not much we could do if he wanted to go and the price was right.
