Why do you refer to Sam Allardyce as a crook? Do you know something about him that the rest of us don't?

I never want Palace to lose, but last week consoled myself after the game that we were perhaps another day closer to getting rid of Pardew.

its enough to get rid of Pardew a draw would be my ideal situation, The HF being silent throughout the game & Pardew having the decency to resign on Saturday night. And finally Mancini installed as Manager within a week or so, Willo standing in as makeshift manager until Mancini comes in

I'd rather Pardew, pulls a win, and then goes on a roll like he did when he came in, culminating in an excellent second half of the season, with a decent placing.

I'd really like Pardew to recover that form and influence that saved us from relegation with our best ever finish, the start to last season and that cup run.

I would imagine he's referring to the fact he was sacked by England for insinuating he would take a wedge.

Anyway. Absolutely not

Well the losing of the England job, and the exposes into bungs and corrupt agents featured quite a bit that makes him 'Harry Redknapp' with a frown.

Every time there's a scandal about payments in football, it does seem the name Alledyce comes up.

Plus within a season, a lot of the people desperate for Pardew to be out, will be complaining about hoofball etc.

Completely agree. Would love us to have a positive month, a great transfer window and a strong second half of the season. I predict a loss tomorrow but hope for a win.

I hope we win, I expect we'll lose. I wouldn't be anxious about this squad being in the relegation zone with Mancini as manager this early in the season, or even fat Sam. Best scenario for me is to win and Pardew to turn things around, prove me wrong, and keep us in the PL, but I have no basis to believe that will happen.

As far as I know, Allardyce was sacked from the England job for saying (in private) that rules on third party ownership can be got around (which no doubt they can). Not what the FA want to hear but how does this make him a crook?

He is sort of manager that if it turned out he’d take a bung or two in his time, you wouldn’t die of shock but exactly the same can be said of Pardew - except you can throw in the odd sex scandal as well.

Not once in 57 years have I wanted palace to lose. Quite often over that period I've thought they're not capable of winning.

No way would I want us to lose tomorrow even though I do not like the "Arrogant" one as our manger. I never liked him as a player especially a player that relied on ONE good goal in an FA cup match to make his name. He was not a team player in those days and when he left us a lot of palace staff and team smiled a lot and had a pint to celebrate I would think.
He still has not changed in his attitude or arrogance and never will I am afraid. That's my opinion anyway.

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

Pardew has been very supportive of the players, he constantly praises the fans and while at Palace he has conducted himself with a high degree of professionalism.

Meanwhile some fans are questioning whether they want us to win, and who are getting erect over the idea of a man who 12 months ago would have incited anger at the idea of his appointment.

I understand people questioning Pardew's position, but the level of hatred is absurd for someone who just isn't getting results. Unless I missed something he has always set out to win games and he has, wrongly or rightly, attempted to get us playing more expansive football.

If he slept with any of your wives or daughters while shouting "SEAGULLS!" then I retract the above statement.

Hope we win tomorrow.
However, other higher profile managers have been fired for doing a pretty reasonable job in recent years, looking at past managers of Liverpool,City ,United and Chelsea for example.
If Mancini is available,Pardew should be sacked even if we win tomorrow in the same way Van Gaal was shown the door ,a day after winning the FA Cup.
Pardew and Millen have had almost 2 years, which is sufficient time to get things right, but have failed miserably.
