Pardew hasn't had One bad season, he's had Two. The end of last season where, the FA Cup run papered over the cracks of this squad. Now the start of 2016/2017 season which is now in absolute shambles.

I think what the majority of people in the #PardewOut camp who post on this message board are ineloquently trying to state, if you look at the end of 2015/2016 and the start of 2016/2017 whatever Pardew has tried to do isn't working. That's is how we arrive at 2016 as a whole. But it's the sum of the equal parts of last season and this season that we arrive at the fact Pardew should be sacked.

All this talk of the record in 2016 is ridiculous. Titles and relegation are decided on results over a season not a calendar year. Leicester are probably one of the best teams over the calendar year yet they are down near relegation. Chelsea are top of the league and have had an awful overall year. Lets not twist things Pardew has not had a single season you can call a bad season overall.

are you Mrs Pardew?

Furthermore is there any manager that could come in and do a better job? The buffoon Allardyce? Jurgen Klinsmann? Bitches please. We sack Pardew and we go down just like what happened to Newcastle when they got ideas above their station. Pardew should be given til at least end of this year.

Martin

To criticise a top 10 finish is very harsh. If it was all about the team we wouldn't be here now

Second season, is 15th for palace and a cup final a backwards step- arguable either way

If dropping puncheon upsets team spirit then every manager does that every week and the players are incredibly week

Team spirit ruined, massive speculation

I get why people want him sacked and I'm not saying I disagree with you, but to understand why some look at previous good form and disagree is a reasonable if not necessarily correct view

All very good points and valid mate. You wont get much out of the people on the HOL at the moment though. The attitude of the people on here at the moment is akin to the players. Feeling down and negative. But, they should pick themselves up and get on with it. Results will come, but need to come soon I agree. I've been Palace since the Bert Head days and seen it all before, but the way people have rounded on the manager in such a short period of time saddens me. Still, once a new one is installed, not of any ones choice but out of desperation, things will get much worse. I myself have played football of a very decent standard, and although last weeks defensive display was poor, I can see Pardew doing something new. And you know what, he isn't to far off in succeeding with it. Just a little more time required. Not a great fan of the mans personality, but have no problem with what he is trying to do.

The worst record in all four leagues in the last eleven months is hardly a short period of time

Didn't hear many people moaning when we were at the cup final funny enough. I must have sat in the wrong area.

But we still lost it when leading with 12 minutes left and all the cup final did cloud the issue of the poor league form that has continued since last Christmas. The stats do not lie on this occasion. AP has had the biggest budget in history of CP to build a team that can hold its own in PL and he has failed. It bit like those who said the Titanic can't sink, sorry he has to go if we stand any chance of staying up and time is running out!

Sadly Eddie Howe has out performed AP who is supposed to the experienced Manager, all on a smaller budget because he has the players with him and the tactical understanding to know that the first object is to stop you opponents scoring!

If Southampton beat us surely that will be the last straw.

We were 7 mins away in 1990 but it didn't make Coppell a bad manager. I get the other points, but I'm not in full panic mode yet. We have upped our player quality from last season in SOME areas, but I fully expect us to pull away from the bottom soon enough. There is work to do though still in the player recruitment department. I just think its a bit knee jerk getting rid. After Xmas maybe. You are correct about Eddie Howe though, but make no mistake about Bournemouths billionaire wealth. They are just building one decent player at a time. Even Eddie Howe made a blunder with the signing of Muzza for 5mil. Great player of championship standard though!

You 'can see Pardew doing something new and he isn't far off succeeding with it?'

That's got to be one of the most desperate claims made on here in recent times.

How do you know he will try something new?
And as its new how do you know 'he's not far off succeeding with it?''

More daft than you can imagine.

I think you'll be good at ski jumping and you're not far off succeeding at it.

Thanks for that, but this is not about cup finals, just look at teams recently who have made cup finals and have been relegated (Hull & Wigan for example). This is about our PL survival and the stats of AP 92/92 in the football league are embarrassing to say the least not withstanding he has been given the largest budget of any manager in CP history. The PL is where the money is and we need to maintain our status if the Club is to progress in the future. Sorry but AP has shown he has no ability to do this, both in his time at CP or elsewhere. The first part of that exercise has to be to stop teams scoring against us, if we do that then the chances at the other end will come over the 90 mins, this is a concept that AP has never been able to understand, as reflected in the last six games. Scoring four goals and still losing is Sunday morning football and leaving him in place until the end of the year will solve nothing and just make it difficult for any replacement to access the team and the area's where we need better quality players. Sadly, this is the real position we are now in!

Meh I think last season, on the whole was ok. First half was fantastic, second half dire but with a fantastic cup run.

This season, started badly, had a nice bounce that looked like recovery, and then slump like some kind of overtaxed smack whore at the end of a busy night, in the one whore town, on payday.

I'm impressed he's managed to effectively fix our problem with scoring goals, but we're now about as defensive as a passed out teenager in the sex offender wing.

Swansea just highlighted that we, and them, are joining Hull and Sunderland in the most likely likely to be s**ting it at the end of the season.
