I cannot believe he is still in charge, SP will need to act very quickly as all (including the players) are or will loose faith.

Why would he walk? Would you?
Rightly or wrongly he will believe he can turn this around, I'd be even more worried if he didn't.
That's why Parish has to grasp the nettle and sack him. Personally would sack half the team if it was possible too.

No, he should take stock, see what's out there (he should already know), and then decide if there is a candidate currently who we can get and can do what we need.

Making a rushed decision is a recipe for (further) disaster.

the dignified don't even enter in the game

I've been right behind AP. But I must admit the fact that the same defensive frailties have NOT been addressed is deeply concerning. Loosing every fkin week is depressing - but I think we've been playing really decent stuff just defending very very badly! Sadly this is all pointing towards Big Sam - gutted as I really felt for years that AP was the one to take us to the top half regularly. Hoddle wouldn't be a bad shout for the style of play we're aiming for - but I think the owners will want to secure PL Status above style. Big Sam it is then!

Sp isn't acting in my opinion because we are not actually in the drop zone. Hes pissed about over getting rid of crap managers in the past then trying to get someone in on the cheap to help us scrape by. Not acceptable

I think the silence from our chairman speaks volumes.

He'll stubbornly back him until he really has no ther choice which will probably be when we lose to Southampton next week.

I think he needed to go last night

I think it speaks volumes. He's loading the gun and preparing to shoot him. Pardew is walking dead IMO.

Main thing now is Parish picks the best replacement, hopefully he's on the phone sorting it out prior to wacking Pards.

Deadman is walking for sure.

He's clearly lost the players - same old story, good start then the bubble bursts, for whatever reason, either he runs out of ideas with a squad or the players stop playing for him once they get to know him. I agree he's only still in his job because arrangements for the replacement are not near enough completion. Yesterday's performance was the proverbial final nail imho (and nearly everbody else's).

Almost 2 years on since Warnock getting the sack after losing to Saints we could see something similar next week.

It's sad that it hasn't worked out but I see no improvement, complete lack of organisation and no real identity in playing style. For a team in 'transition' to a possession based game we struggle to complete 3 passes and rely mostly on long balls and set pieces to score goals.
