My gut feeling tells me there's more dirt and skeletons in allardyces closet waiting to be exposed. I don't want that side show and distraction going on at our club. Likewise I don't want us relegated. Very tough decision but I think allardyce would be the wrong choice

sorry bubble...are you trying to tell me big sams not a crook?

as thats how your reply sounded...his son is a bent agent as was part of a panorama investigation, then his old man was sacked 67 days into the england job for being a crook...so i would say thats a fairly accurate description of the guy.

show me hes not crooked, please!

Big Sam is apparently desperate to get back into the game and is ready for a new challenge home or abroad.
I know a club who represent a serious challenge to keep in the Premiership.Ourselves!!
Wake up Parish and get Sam signed up before he goes elsewhere.
We are going nowhere with Pardew, only down to the Championship which will be increasingly obvious after the next 3 games.
6 wins in 37 games in a results driven business is a laughing stock. So much for sentimentality, the man should have been sacked after the Cup Final along with Van Gal,particularly for that inane dance!!

If you think that, check out his record in the PL with his clubs. He's no better than what we have.

I would rather the club look elsewhere.

If you come to a fork in the road, take it.

He's probably the best alternative out there at the moment.

Personally I feel it would be a step backwards. It would be like Pulis again (not necessarily a bad thing, depending on your view). We'd be hard to beat, organised and not hugely exciting to watch. Won't get higher than mid table. Pardew is gradually trying to turn us into a decent footballing side, like Southampton, but it will take time.

I genuinely can't see us going down this season, there are about 5 teams who are far worse than us. If we are in the relegation zone at the end of Feb it would be right to get an Allardyce type in then to save us, but not now. Pardew can get us to a higher level than Allardyce. He needs time to transform Palace from a counter attacking team, it won't happen over night.

This is now a salvage job and as Allardyce does those well we should get him in now before it's too late.

For a short term appointment Alardyce would do ok. However his sleazy reputation would not help us to change our image from a chancers club to a professional premier league club.

I think we will leave the change very late in which case Alardyce will be the only manager available that would give us a chance.

I remember the last time we were in our fourth year in the top flight. We left the sacking of Bert Head far too late and gave Malcolm Allison no chance of changing the team before we went down.

I know it might make sense for us - but I can't stop feeling that Swansea are welcome to him!
