As for cooking, well, surely we were doomed soon as we ditched our world beating Michelin rosette culinary delights such as sausages, beans and mash (which I'm actually quite partial to btw) for the awful wide range of tasty international cuisine now on offer all over the place.. About as "quite right" in fact as the second Brexit will turn out to be,no? ps. You sure that's what's caused impotence? I stand by every word.

Used to work in the West Wickham branch for a few years during college. To this day still the most fun job I've ever had. Wresting in the warehouse and playing football in the back was a real blast. Putting one guy from produce in the cardboard baler probably took it too far though!

All the shops used to be shut on a Sunday afternoon and I would watch Jack Hargreaves "Out of Town" on TV Sunday lunchtime after I got home from helping the milkman on his round and a hot bath. Loved that bit of music.... Then it was time for lunch.... roast lamb/beef/pork, big yorkshire pud, roast tatties veg and gravy. Then a tin of fruit with double cream. 2 of us 5 kids were then designated for washing up/drying. Then we'd all go to the park by Carshalton Ponds or the boating lake at The Grange/Beddington Park. Sundays these days are sh1t by comparison. Mind you nostalgia isn't as good as it used to be!
