I do have to smile when people say 'so who should we replace him with then' in a way that would suggest that Pardew is the best we should expect. My answer would be replace him with any of the managers currently managing in Europe... Bar the top clubs obviously. What I mean is, is that it doesn't have to be someone unemployed. Managers can be bought out of their contracts. Any manager in Europe?

My concern is that if AP stays even for the next few games( cant see results improving under him) then the transfer window is upon us and instead of looking to strengthen the side we are looking for a new Manager, which will mean we are certain not to get the quality defender, creative midfielder and a goalkeeper all of which are needed urgently if we are to stand any chance of staying up. I do not think SP can wait that long if AP is to go, then he has to go now!

Goalkeeper is not urgently needed We did ok getting players when Pulis came in He should still be given time albeit it getting shorter by the week.

We have won 5 PL games since last Christmas that is the current form trend which means relegation is really going to happen unless something changes urgently! wake up! Originally posted by victor43

Well football matches are over 90 mins, not one half. our record is piss poor, he is the manager loose to Hull and he has to go. We're 11 games in and we've scored first twice. Both times we won. The first 20 minutes is killing us at the moment. Having said that, for some reason I still don't feel a massive urge to get rid of Pardew.

That a strange comment as a long standing and true Palace fan I'm happy when Palace win and sad when they lose, I care about every game and our status in the Premier League, probably more so because I know what it is like to support them in Third Division South! Originally posted by Alexi_the_Eagle
