I'm sorry but from one Bubble to another, I have to disagree... I have great admiration for the people that have arranged and organised the meet yesterday and the display next Saturday. We at Palace have become a family who look after our own. RIP Tank and Dane and the other victims from this terrible accident. I hope we do you proud!

Sorry but not a good idea. Minutes silence before kick off is perfectly respectful. Turning it a show is not. Tragic accident but some are trying to turn others grief into their own. I knew Tank personally and will be thinking of him during the silence.

Am astounded BW had you down as an alright bloke, The love and respects shown by everyone has been phenomenal & the amount of monies raised for the families is incredible!
So to suggest that it's show is a cnutish thing to do!
We all have red and blue blood and are simply showing the families they are supported by us fellow fans during this sad time.
Disappointing to say the least.

No, he's spot on. A minutes silence is the real show of respect.

There is a very impressive & moving tribute at the top of Clyde rd(1 way rd from lower Add. that faces Radcliffe across the Addiscombe rd)
Very Palace orientatated.
I saw it / drove past it for first time today & could not help but be moved.
A lot of flowers ar bottom of Sandilands too.
best tribute would be to turn city over on sat.

The last thing we need is for Palace fans to fall out over how others pay respects to the deceased fans!

I know the group which has organised the banners have the best intentions at heart & a lot of them knew the people involved and are simply paying respects in their own way to each of the two Palace fans.
Both families have been consulted and are more than happy with the tributes & arrangements.
What I can say some responses have angered a lot of people!

I will say no more on the subject other that am saddened that people see fit to criticise well meaning fans efforts.
Good on em I say

You know what struck me the most was the line from one of the articles about the life of Dane Chinnery. That he was palace through and through right down to the walls of his bedroom. The site is full of flags from Cup final as well. He was only 8 years older than my son. We carried the same flags down Wembley way. That's when it got me. When I had to take a moment.

Hey BBF i have no problem with people doing what they want to do to show their respects,I meant no offence and its difficult but Who am i to judge. Being honest as with all things that go on at the club the call for the HF to do a display made me think it was not a good idea but i hear the famalies are behind it so do them proud. I personally, will be having a minutes silence to remember my pal Tank and think about all of those that lost their lives in such tragic circumstances. Please lets not argue on this one and all stand together as one on Saturday.

I have made my feelings known about them a couple of times in the past on here. But to be honest the only reason I suggested it is because 1. They are clearly good at organising displayed like they did at Wembley and other games and 2. fundraising to pay for the materials for the displays in a very short space of time. Obviously their political / controversial banners and such like is another matter but I didn't honestly feel it would go down those lines Saturday. Your never going to please everyone. Some will agree with it, some won't like it. Some won't give it more than the minutes thought during the silence others I am sure will be visibly moved and very emotional standing there on Saturday. Everyone reacts and feels differently when someone dies there isn't a right or wrong way to feel or act x

Also says there was some braking applied which slowed it from 50mph to 43mph.

Also the CCTV on the tram wasn't working at the time of the accident.
