Some good replies on here

I noticed the Cabaye stat , yes I agree , Cabaye has looked TERRIBLE to me for over a year , last couple of games he's looked lively .
Those failing to see Zaha's responsibilities are probably the same fans that though Bolasie was "world class "
Lets just all be positive
City next will be tough
By the time we get to Swansea that may also be tough as they could very well have a new boss
Again as results have already shown elsewhere this is a tough division
We will not go down , but it won't be easy .

Load of Bollocks, he was brilliant Saturday, by far our best player and far more influential the Townsend on the other wing! And he actually does chase back, perhaps he looks too gracious in his play for some people to notice.
And the cross for Wickham's goal....? Several other that created serious danger.
Agree he should score more goals.

The constant defence of Zaha on here is amazing
Just as it was for Bolasie
But thank god we got a fortune for him and sold him on to Everton
Yes Zaha can beat a player now and again , but does he chase back ? does he cross well ?
I won't even ask if he scores goals , he couldn't finish his dinner !!!

His all round game needs to be a whole lot better , there doesn't have to be a step over and a trick EVERY time he gets the ball .
Keep it simple some times
Get a cross in
And learn how to finish

Get OFF Pardew's back

A very strange appointment. Admittedly he has International experience with the USA and Egypt but has no top level experience at club level and was appointed to revive Swansea's fortunes in the "Rarefied" PL.Maybe it was Swansea's American owners who made the decision.

Or who like me were able to watch the game live on TV ??

Because if you did you would know that Palace dominated then game
We lost because we switched off THREE times with our concentration and tracking back
Zaha especially was at fault with the FIRST and THIRD goals
After 90 minutes Pardew could be heard SCREAMING at Zaha to stay focused and concentrate as there was only minutes left , but sure enough Zaha didn't track back his runner and they scored a THIRD
We played well , Pardew managed the game well , his substitutions changed the game
Watch his after game interviews , he cares , it hurts to lose like this
Get behind him and the team , Ive said before we are a mid table team and NO MORE , but even mid table teams HAVE to concentrate and WORK HARD for the whole.game .

You said Defoe could walk into most top teams in the world.....

Your opinion is invalid

We're the Arthur over ere!

Why not boo? I didn't boo. I can understand why some people did with some of the defending on show at the start particularly towards the end. You simply cannot defend like that without being punished even at championship level. It was very frustrating to watch not leaving a few back & holding it out in hindsight could have still played on the front foot but being sensible not leaving the sub unmarked with a fresh pair of legs to gallop forward.

This season especially Wilf has worked his socks off every game. There is some very harsh critisism of him on this site from people who are extremely hard to please.
Imagine what it would cost to buy a player of his ability.

He has got to be worth at least what Everton paid for bolasie right now. He is good and getting better. If he can stick the ball in the net more often then he is worth north of £30m.
I would like to see ALL our players shoot more often. Look at Townsend last minutes shot. More of them please.

Wilf was thrilling to watch - literally.

They spent 90 minutes trying to kick him off the park. He gets zero protection from the ref. I apologise to anyone who was there who had to put up with me shouting at the ref.

It shouldn't really be that much of a surprise that an attacking winger, isn't particularly good at defending. He's better than you think, but not that good (Bolaise was surprisingly good at defending, but he was strong f**ker).

We're very vulnerable from breaks from our own corners, as both centre backs will be up, along with Ledley and McArthur.

Which for us, means we have at best our full backs, and two wingers covering a break out.

We looked wide open defensively for the first 20 minutes. Kelly is not Premiership standard, Ward is far more effective on the right. Damo and Dann were playing like they had only met up 5 minutes before kick off. I don't think Dann is fully fit either. As for Steeeve....Hennessey would have been slaughtered for conceding that second goal.

On the positive side....the players look like they are still playing for the manager. We dominated 70 minutes of the game, and when Wickham scored I genuinely thought we could go on to win the game. I think the players did too because instead of settling for a point and closing the game out, we got caught on the break for their third.

Four defeats in a row is hard to take, and I don't think we've been thoroughly outplayed in any of them. However, we could and should be taking points from the likes of Burnley.

My guess is Parish will accommodate the fact the City are next up and therefore expectations will not be too high. But lose at Swansea a week later and it will be hard to justify keeping Pardew in a job.

..you stated very clearly how the players made silly mistakes and played like they haven't played together before and then you stated very clearly how well they played and how they looked great to be going for the kill, please explain how Dann who was very solid before his injury and is now not so and how our keeper Steve manged to make such a hash of a straight forward save and how all this is the fault of Mr Pardew?

..so you honestly believe that given the opportunity to play the game again Burnley would be able to....

...make Puncheon boot that corner like he did and then make our defender boot the ball against himself to help them score the first and then make Steve get in an awful mess for the second and then break for their winner passing so brilliantly to each other without us getting anywhere near it, you really believe Burnley practised all that.

Just a flurry of comical errors Burnley didn't have to practice at all I think we were architects of our downfall which has been prevalent in alot of games too many some may argue. The 2nd when the ball just looped over was the pick of a bad bunch for me summed up what the afternoon could & did become.
