You can't beat a scrappy , gritty ,backs to the wall 1-0 victory, with perhaps the only shot of the game!

The majority of most of our lives we've been a 2nd division team. I still get the same buzz regardless who we play and feel the same emotions win lose or draw. Nothing is worse than watching dire negative football week in week out.

I have to say in all my years in football I have never heard any supporter say they feel the same emotions win lose or draw....my God I almost feel sorry for you.

Quite clearly meant the same adulation for a win, frustration for a draw and anger at a loss regardless of opposition. Do you think I sit freezing my bollocks off for the sake of it.

Big Sam? It's a no from me. No sane club would touch him with a 50 foot barge pole. And neither should we.

"Look at that. Accident blackspot? These aren't accidents! They're throwing themselves into the road gladly! Throwing themselves into the road to escape all this hideousness!"

Big Sam over AP yes but I would rather have some one else like one of these guys if possible

Frank de Boer
André Villas-Boas

Big Sam can do a job if you are happy to just sit around mid table and grind out 1-0 games if fans are happy with that then he's the man.

I would rather take a risk with a EU manager which can have advantages but the problem is a risk they may not know the league or could use Palace as stepping stone.

We can all sit here and name the best young managers in Europe but there's one slight problem they all have in common and that's their ambition lays a lot higher than a club of our stature. With the TV money we could probably attract one or two and then what, they either fail, or do well and use us as a stepping stone.
If we go down the route of a tried and tested manager playing direct route 1 football with the sole intention of surviving every season then I'll just stop following.

Atleast pardews problem seem's to be being over ambitious.

Yeah your right your self entitlement does annoy me, happy to be hear attitude. unless you win the league then it's a failure, end of. which we've done every season since we formed. I can handle having a go and losing but hoping for a manager scraping through every game playing negative football hoping to nick games and drag out 0-0 draws just to stay in the league no thanks.

There is no entitlement! We have a good team that should be doing better but the manager is incompetent! I want to stay in this division and nothing else. This club has come too far just to fade away! Stay up at all costs I don't care how!

All enjoyed a favourable transfer window this summer, nobody can argue that.Better squad than last ?clearly yes, Pardews been backed and backed but has fallen short. Transition for palace this year he said,at what cost I ask myself. Tiki taka, wtf ,play to our squads strength, give this squad to Sam sorted, top ten.

And you say I have a lack of ambition. The only time you should be playing for a draw is an away leg in a knockout game in the European cup. I don't care who we play, I expect the players to go out and play to win. We are playing well enough going forward, creating enough chances just making stupid mistakes defensively which pardew needs to sort out.

I've seen interviews with pardew saying we can go down the direct route but players don't want to do it, creative players like Zaha will get bored chasing lost causes and go to the first club that comes in for him, no decent player would want to come. I couldn't think of anything worse than watching us under big Sam.

Big Sam would organise the team and results would follow. Not forward thinking but he was chosen as the England manager. I really want AP to succeed but how long can we wait? Feel confident that SP knows what he's doing so lets see, he certainly will be giving it a lot of thought IMO
