Plenty of fickleness and very little loyalty from some as if we are so much better than the Bournemouths, Middlesboroughs and Sunderlands of this world that we should be way above them in the league. Half of our first team would not automatically command a place in these other lower Prem teams due to their, and it's simple really, footballing ability. it's not Pards fault that we still lack 4 or 5 players whom we need to make the team complete and a 50-60pt Prem team season in season out. He has only been with us 22 months and he inherited a much weaker squad. He's doing ok overall. Another year and a few more signings is what he needs and deserves. He kept us up when we seemed certs for relegation don't forget. Be loyal.

If we had lost 4 in a row before our recent 3 wins, then I think Parish may have been tempted to pull the plug on Pardew. Both those 3 wins have kept us away from the bottom and therefore has bought Pardew some time. To be fair, in the 4 losses we had enough of those games to take some points, especially today. And that is something else to factor in. I actually think we miss a midfield ' enforcer ' - we didn't replace Jedi with a like for like player, and we look wide open when the opposition has the ball

In my opinion we will lose our next game against Man.City and then it will be up to whether we beat Swansea or not. A sixth defeat in a row I believe will give Parish no choice but to make a change.

Part of the reason we're so hacked off is that Steve P urged us to be more aspirational and ambitious. We were. We wanted to be chasing a Euro place not struggling (yet again) in relegation territory. Does the coaching set-up need shaking up? Who's in charge of ensuring that we've got things right at the back? My thoughts exactly. For sentimental reasons, I wished it was AP that brings us up a level but time will run out soon and we may be in the dumps fighting for survival COYP.

Perspective. A win today would have seen us hit just shy of 1.4 points per game average for the season. This is in keeping with Pardews record historically. Over the past 10 years average that would see us finish 8th in the table come may. Pull your knicker back up the lot of you.
1/6/2010.a new era.we made it everyone!!!lets get the ball rolling for another 105 years of proud history.thank you cpfc2010. palace forever.eeaaaaaaaaaaaaaggglless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Me too. I think a loss to Man City then Swansea, particularly if we ship goals to the latter, and it will be the end of Pardew, assuming that SP has another name in the frame. Whoever suggested Chris Coleman hit the nail on the head.

Whoever suggested Chris Coleman hit the nail on the head. And what has he achieved in club football ? Sacked by both Fulham and Coventry ? Or is there a sentimental element given he is Ex-Palace, just like Freedman, Taylor and Pardew ? !!!!
