Well said that man. Citizen, I am sick and tired of win, we're brilliant, Europe here we come. Lose and we're s***, the managers s*** and we're heading down.

We've conceded first in 6 of our 8 games - this cannot keep happening. of course it can. we are palace not man city. playing in one of the strongest leagues in world football. out up n down results are that of a mid table team. to lower the goals let in would only be that of a team with ideas of finishing top 8. the current form is totally and utterly acceptable for a club like ours.

Surely the reason we lost was because Benteke took the worst penalty in league history. Obviously a new supporter! Nothing will be as bad a Puncheons effort against Spurs. What really pissed me off, was BTs coverage, is was a disgrace the way they all kept on how fantastic Spam were all game. Agree in the first half, but second half we deserved a draw at least.

AP needs to find out why we start so slowly, because it isn't the plan it would seem. Every team has tactics to stop the other playing and West ham fooled everyone with their formation, but we were dominant in the second half, but our now familiar failure to make pressure count reared it's ugly head again. Benteke was bought to make the difference in these type of games and yesterday he should of, but had an off day.

Others like Zaha, townsend and puncheon need to start scoring a few.

We lost because we didn't take our chances. Harsh to blame Pardew for the team that he picked because near enough that same lineup was unbeaten in 5 league games and noone deserved to be dropped. It didn't work so he changed it at half time and we looked a much better side. If the penalty goes in we probably go on to win it. There certainly wasn't a lack of effort yesterday, just a few poor performances and lack of cutting edge in front of goal. We'll look a much better side when Cabaye and Dann are back in the starting lineup next week.

cpj makes the point that we've conceded first in 6 of our 8 league games. I'd been thinking that before reading his comment & agree we need to concentrate on not conceding at least 1 a game - every game so far.

my take on it having to watch it at work, 2 errors cost us, mcarthur was ball watching & the bloody awful penalty, we were beaten by a better team, going onto the ole cliche we could still be playing now and still not score Edited by thegreatlardino (16 Oct 2016 4.59pm)

Sometimes you could play all day and not score. We had chances, we missed a penalty (it was just a miss, not the "worst ever" ), we faced ten men for a decent chunk of the game, but still we didn't score. It happens. It happened memorably to West Ham at our play-off final in Cardiff. Yesterday it happened to us. We move on. COYP Edited by Sansbup (16 Oct 2016 6.54pm)
