I can understand people being a bit cheesed off, my son was mightily pissed off but Romford is a bloody nightmare. Not that the place is much better

I'm struggling with how what happened today was Pardew's fault .He put out the best team available and if Benteke hadn't taken such a poor penalty we probably would have gone on to win it. It was just one of those days and if anything's to blame it's the stupid international break.

Wspam out thought AP in the first half and it wasn't until we changed our formation in the second half did we look as good as them. However, the damage was done and some of our players had off days today which didn't help. Thought the way they harassed Townsend and Zaha as soon as they got the ball was our downfall. They weren't given any room down the sides. Just perhaps AP needed to withdraw one or both of them which would have been better than trying to supply them when under pressure? Tough games ahead now for which like the West Brom game 3 points should of been ours. Still don't believe Wspam have turned it around. We just didn't get it right today?

Very disappointed today, we missed a penalty, and they went down to 10 men and yet again we couldn't win.I don't want the ref to send anyone off anymore ,as soon as he does we completely lose our way (what was going on in the last 10 minutes when both our wingers were playing on the same side of the pitch ?.Lots of us have said it,Pardew's Plan B doesn't make sense or more importantly work !!!

What worries me is that is now 6 times in 8 games this season that we've conceded first, and yet again he had to make wholesale changes at half-time because he'd got the formation or side wrong in the first-half. The same kept happening last season.

He didn't get the formation wrong though,Spam have played 4 at the back all season and AP would have planned accordingly. He cant change the game plan an hour before kick off because it looks like they are playing 3 instead of 4 it could cause more problems than solutions. If everyone had been on their game today we would have won despite Bilic pulling an ace out of his sleeve,it happens but its onwards and upwards.

For me, it's not about the individual performances on the pitch, it's about where our team was at physically and mentally at the first whistle. There will always be winners and losers in football, but that is not the point here, the point for me is a manager that manages to get a prepared team out for a match against a manager that now consistently fails to after a break. This was my only gripe against AP against West Brom. We are too mediocre a club to give matches away before we strike form. How did West Brom and West Ham manage to play so well after breaks? I'm sorry, but I'm starting to see reasons why Pardew is a 'streaky' manager with long streaks of either wins or losses. The players get themselves into form from playing weekly it seems to me. Pardew should be smart enough to kick their butts and get them gee'd-up for their first match after a break. He can't do it. He's unable to it seems. Looks like we'll just have to wait before they start playing again because he sure as hell won't be able to coach them to do that in training.

And what about this love affair Pardew has with Puncheon, totally out off his depth, where is plan B, were at home and he plays one up front, we should be doing more in the first half of games, 4-4-2 is the way forward if you are going to play Benteke, I find this performance and result totally unacceptable, Pardew should seriously consider his position at the club after this fiasco..... Punch was one of the few to play well in both halves! Did you go to the game?

Not for the 1st time this season we didnt turn up for the 1st half. Pards has had to change things in the 2nd half four times this season before we started playing(Bournemouth Sunderland Everton and today). Spams formation was the reason we lost and you have to give Bilic credit for that

Its not a matter of not turning up West Ham were better. IMO Cabaye should have started that apart it was our best available team the need of more quality defenders is plain to see two more injuries and we are in big trouble.
