Townsend looks lively and incicive. The rest of them look like a f***ing shower and I don't think I can remember a dodgier back four for England.

ESPN will have a skeleton staff, so they're desperate for stories, in which case cutting and pasting a story off the Internet, and rewriting it a little bit, is a great piece of business for the journalist keeps to the target story count target set by their bosses. Don't be fooled. Townsend hasn't given another interview. it's the same one, and it'll pop up all over the place. There's a saying in publishing. A lie goes twice round the world, before the truth has even got its boots on!
