Would be absolutely stunned if they considered Pardew (if Allardyce even goes). The FA hate nothing more than controversy with their managers, so why would they appoint someone with a history of volatile touchline behaviour and a lot of alleged personal incidents that would almost certainly be raked up.
We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold... |

It's only a matter of time until all the (allegedly) dodgy managers (with relatives as agents etc) will all get found out. Problem is The FA probably don't want them to be found out as they will also be found to be complicit. Sam should be sacked, but chances are, he won't be due to the "Run it past the powers that be" line.

If he gets the sack I imaging he will have the best win % of any England manager.

There is no question that as England manager he should know better. Should he stay on it will be because he has just been hired and that may give him a chance.

For those who don't think there is a problem, the Guardian's take is well worth reading:
If you come to a fork in the road, take it. |

Over the coming days the Telegraph will detail how: The assistant manager of a high-profile football club accepted a £5,000 cash “bung” Is sport morally bankrupt? It's beginning to look pretty dirty again

England have been offered a lifeline here to overturn the terrible decision to appoint him in the first place. Don't waste it.
