Shouldn't bother you in Perth, the chances of you going to a game are remote. Not that it's your business but i'm back and forth a fair bit and get to games when I can. I've not been here that long! You sound completely pig ignorant!! My point is just that if we can't field a competitive team and play like we did why should fans bother going to these games anymore?? Now bore off and feel free not to comment on my posts in future! Thanks.

If people choose to travel and pay for a tickets its up to them. Usually the stands are empty in early rounds. This competition doesn't currently have a sponsor and although it's the lesser of the three annual competitions it's no less prestigious for the winner. Our trophy cabinet isn't exactly bulging is it? There is still entry for the winner into Europe which I pointed out in another thread. The gates are usually lower because of the quality of opposition, and ticket prices are pitched accordingly to fill the stadium, but we were playing another Premiership team on this occasion. We only had to beat them to reach the last 16. It is up to individuals whether they wish to turn up to support their team but they should reasonably expect their team to turn up too. In my view, there is no excuse to field a very inferior team when you can make three substitutions during the game.

If so I'm one of those persons and I'm entitled to say the performance was dire. Don't know what game you were watching - if you were - but Sako was bloody 'crap'! We don't know if he can cross it cause he didn't try to. Just passed it backwards to Fryers or misplaced a pass to give it away. We were poor, but then we did put out a second team for the most part. The peril of buying tickets to league cup games, especially in the early rounds. The team we put out was poor, but that's the League Cup for you. We were putting out second and reserve players for at least a decade in the early rounds, regardless of what league were were in. We'll probably do the same to an extent in the FA Cup.

We're spread so thin we needed out of a cup. One loan slot left for january and we need a CB and a LB.

Couldn't care less about the 'EFL Cup' - 3 points at Sunderland is the priority. Therefore why oh why did our glorious manager play Scott Dann?

How's that inept ? A lot of managers try and keep the same back line through competitions. Plus with him being captain I would always play him, he's a good example to those not in the first team of how to do things. For all we know he might have only played him for one half or 60 mins, shame he picked up the injury but all will be ok. Coyp!

Scott Dan is the club Captain for a start and secondly how do we know whether or not that Scott made the decision himself to play? As someone pointed out you can be injured in training (Remy) or have a car accident (Papa).
