Typical negativity towards the HF. A sideshow? Really? They spend more time, money, dedication than half the tools on this site and for a far more positive and lasting outcome. When people talk about palace, the first thing they speak of is the fans. Is that you Hoof? Are you chucking out thousands of pounds and hours a season planning and preparing displays? Nah mate, you're on here being an absolute helmet.

They are so two faced - they slag off Sky for ruining football, hide their faces because they told their mums that they were going to the pictures with their pocket money, but then hold up a stupid banner saying 'Save Fabric' which was obviously put up for Sky viewers to see because it was held up when a corner was awarded down by them. What the feck has Fabric got to do with football ?

Save Fabric - don't write stupid messages on sheets.

I started supporting Palace on the Holmesdale terrace as a 6 year old in 1963.

Over the years I've invested more time and money in supporting the club than 99% of other fans I would say, but it makes me just a loyal fan.

I don't remember the other Palace fans having a whip round to pay for my trip to Southend to watch Palace away after work on a friday night and not getting there till half-time due to traffic either.

In that time I've had very few reasons to not watch the action 100% and get behind the team vocally let alone prepare beforehand a ripped up bedsheet with Fabreze or whatever written on it and demonstrate in front of the Holmesdale dressed like a terrorist on a mission.

The HF seem to think they are a mouthpiece for every Palace fan with their crusade against Sky and other political statements.... and they have the cheek to look for donations to fund these "displays" which often look amateurish and embarrassing.

If anyone is a "helmet" it's you for not having the balls to tell the HF that they don't own the right to hijack our home and away games and should stick to singing songs and wearing our actual colours instead of looking like the phantom flan flinger from TISWAS. They could do worse than get in sync with the lads in the Arthur who don't look for overblown gestures or displays and just loyally belt out Palace songs that we can all join in with.

Tools and helmets..... interesting adjectives to describe fellow fans by the way.... what a charmer.

From what I saw I think they were peed off the cameraman wouldn't film their banner.
I disagree with a lot of posters here.
These are young passionate Palace fans who really turn Selhurst into a caldron of noise.
When I was a youngster, the Homesdale wasn't covered and all the noise from the singers behindd the goal went up into the air.
Stood behind the goal two thirds of the way up where all the singing (and trouble was). It was a fantastic atmosphere.
The real Hard nuts used to go up the White Horse and virtually every game it kicked off up there.
By comparison the Ultras are good as gold.
So I am right behind them and everything they give to the club.
