Not self defence. Would not have received a 14 week custodial sentence. Has just overturned the sentence on appeal. Now suspended for 18 months. He is a very lucky boy and needs to appreciate that. The club say he is on a last chance. His appearance and associated conduct is all Vinnie Jones. He needs to base himself on a better role model. If he thinks a career in Hollywood beckons he is seriously misguided. Time to grow up Ryan. Agree with that

3 previous incidents, all kept reasonably quiet by the club, this isn't the first assault either. F*ck him, get this idiot out of the club. What makes him any different from a Nile Ranger. Hasn't learnt his lesson and why should the club clean up his mess after giving him an unbelievable chance at an amazing life.

With 3 previous incidents probably very little, though Nile Ranger is a very special kind of c***

Probably would have gotten longer here had he not pleaded guilty. I don't think it'll do his career much good, but I don't think additionally punishing someone is always advisable if they've put their hands up, plead guilty etc. Everyone deserves a second chance, and sometimes its difficult to know what you'd do in a situation until your in it. Drunk or not. Quite right, just a shame that this was his fourth chance. Well (silently) documented record it seems.

Granted everyone deserved a second chance. But they can get to the back of the queue behind the 56m people that haven't got a criminal record. If we didn't have such a soppy attitude we'd have less criminals.

Palace chairman Parish was at the court today to show his support - and issue a warning - to Inniss, saying the club will help him with his issues, but that he is on his "last chance".

Which out of a population of 65m including children is much higher than I expected.
