Imagine Allardyce thought there'd be a bit of an onslaught first 20 mins and he wanted to start defensive and grow into the game. As it was, Slovakia only wanted to defend all game. Thought we played alright second half, even before the sending off. Much more movement and more chances, unlucky not to score earlier. They created nothing.

Walcott can f*ck off though.

Joe Hart still can't kick a ball. Now that Pep has got rid of him can he please stop trying to show us that he can?

Rooney should be subbed the second he drops deeper than the defensive midfielders.

God this is awful. Boring possession football with no end product. Kane seems to have lost all confidence. Sterling can't control the ball and stone's an accident waiting to happen.

I thought Stones was very good, one rare bright spark.

He played more in the number 10 role than Rooney did.

It is ironic that an England team that now dominates possession, but struggles to breakdown a 9/10 man defence gets criticised. I can recall the days when we hardly had any possession and were living on scrapes.
Clearly there is room for improvement, but at least we have possession of the ball, so at least have the opportunity to do something with it. I suppose you could class me as a glass half full.

I agree with you. We are far better at keeping possession than we used to be, but we do need to find a way of breaking down stubborn opponents. I don't think England are that bad. I can remember it was not that long ago that we would come out with all guns blazing only to run out of ideas after 20 minutes and resort to hoofing it.

Mind you, watching last night's game and waiting for England to score reminded me of the experience I regularly undergo at Selhurst Park.

The way I will enjoy the England game is by not watching it. I've had enough now of watching them sail though qualifying, and then blow up at the major tournaments.

I couldn't give a monkeys anymore, what I do find annoying is we've only had 3 premiership games, and it then gets interrupted by this international football dross.

This with bells on. England could win the World Cup but it wouldn't be nearly as special as if we had won the FA cup or even the league cup. F*ck I'd is be more excited about us finishing top 8

Watching England at Football is like "enjoying" Christmas.

As a young boy I looked forward to it and in 1966 we won the World Cup but since then it has gone downhill.

Like with Christmas I grew up realised Santa Claus didn't exist and that the whole thing was done for commercial reasons.

Footballers that play for England are overpaid primadonnas that continually let us down.
