Just to say, that 'Clutterberk' has been appointed to ref the Manc derby on Sat....

Should be 'interesting'

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

NOT surprising given the Anti-Clattenburg "Brigade" on HOL.

Must have really irked one and all of them when he was awarded THREE major finals this year.

Now let's NOT turn this into a Clattenburg thread as this isn't the subject of this thread. My views are well known and I don't need to keep repeating them ad-nauseum.Thank You.

In response to the comments made on here by the Anti-Clattenburg 'Brigade'.

Anyway this thread is NOT about Clattenburg so I'm not going to make any further comment in relation to him on here.

People who are guilty quite frequently deny it. Just saying.

Indeed, many don't even think they've done anything wrong.

There is an excellent though scary article in the Guardian today on corruption in Cypriote football (where there have been six bombings attributed to protesting about match fixing and corrupt refereeing).

If dangerous foul play gets punished who cares what the ref saw or missed. If any ref says they saw the incident it does not mean they got the right decision so i am all for a citing panel like in Rugby.

A referee can see an incident but does not always appreciate the severity of it, accordingly no action is taken.

I understand the notion of not "Re-Refereeing" a game but perhaps where violent conduct and the like is suspected, a panel should cast judgement without having to ask the referee whether he saw the incident or not.

The title is "Corrupt Refereeing" so I'd say Clattenburg was bang on topic.

What's the matter, Willo? You're not calling him by his Christian name. Have you two had a tiff?

So in Wiki's head, because the PGMO have not said "Yeah, sorry about that. We did do what Halsey is claiming. Apologise"

That means that they didn't do anything wrong. Case closed.

Starting to get the feeling that Clusterf*** saved Wiki from a life threatening situation that buggered him up his rectum to make him feel better. It's the only logical reason for this constant love in for him.

Ps. Their date night includes a copy of broke back mountain in HD.

Completely agree.
There is a load of bull talked about seeing it and not seeing it. If the players knew there would be justice then surely it would be a better deterrent.
