Aside from his own ability Sakho created more confidence in the ability of our other defenders.

I see this story is gaining more publicity amongst the media. Zouma is a very good defender and would be a good acquisition. Can't see that nasty injury he had would be a recurring one. Whilst we all know Sakho was great for us, we don't know that De Boer can get the same effort out of him as did Sam.

So rumours about Zouma, Rami and Veltman abound. Dont really care who comes in as long as its someone decent!

I like Kurt Zouma but unless there's an option to buy, we developing him for Chelsea and be in the same scenario next season.

But not having a buy clause option for a fixed amount basically has meant adding £10m to his fee. Think the Zouma loan should have some kind buy option, although that's dependant on Chelsea wanting to sell. When really they just want a finishing school before he returns?

This is why we should avoid because Chelsea would use palace as a shop window for Zouma to make a 25+m move if he had a successful loan spell.

nah I think we'll buy sakho, and some dutch defender on a cheapish non 100k pw deal. we have loftus cheek more or less now to replace McArthur who will join Villa or Burnley for reportedly 8 million. that 8 mill will help sakho purchase and allow us a lil' left over to buy a striker and a RB.
