For me, from my experiences it has to be Mile. This has got to be the best period ever for the club, and yes he hasn't always been the most elegant player but I remember well the times when we've had to dig in in games and he was a rock. Not to mention some quality moments like the free kick against Liverpool and smashing the odd playing or two into oblivion. 100% gets my vote.

Depends what you think makes a great captain. Achievement? Positive influence on the team? Longevity? Loyalty? For me, it's the first two attributes and for that reason Geoff Thomas would edge out Jimboyo. Longevity and loyalty are, in my opinion, a function of the era players play in.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |
