But you never know, perhaps the lure of Selhurst Park on a cold and rainy February is greater than we think!

I think unless you're the richest you need an experienced head and a young head who both accept they won't be playing as much as the 1st and 2nd choice. But then cost comes into it and how good the 1st and 2nd choices are. Chamakh will be out and Campbell needs loaning out with I guess Palace paying half of his alleged £35k wages. Wickham, Gayle.... I think we need another challenger to Wickham.

He is about to turn 31! That isn't exactly over the hill. So what he went for a big payday in China and Turkey, he has scored goals there and I am sure that half the premiership would have taken him had they been prepared to offer him the stupid money he would have got. Maybe he fancies coming back to the prem again, live in London and give more competitive football another run. He has scored lots of goals in this league and knows how to play it. Ibrahimovic has played 4 years in France where only 1 team can win the league and scored lots of goals against powerhouses such as Agen and St Etienne. He is rumoured to be signing for Utd at 200k a week and turns 35 next season, they seem to be extremely excited about it, if they can score goals at this level then I am all for it.
