It's laughable to think we would ever get near the likes of Batshuayi, Benteke or Slimani.

They will all be going to top clubs, if they are made available.

Infact, I don't even see Berahino contemplating coming to us either, even if we could afford him, which I don't know if we could.

I would look at Moussa Dembele of Fulham, with offer of regular first team football.

not many bigger prem clubs than us play with a lump up front except for maybe Everton and west ham sometimes.

other than those too I guess we're next in line if interested. we earn more money in. wages on offer than a lot of foreign leagles so there is a good chance...if we are interested....benteke would come here

Should go for Artem Dzyuba, at 6'5" the guys a tank. Has a 1in3 goal ratio and is only 27yo.

With two new manager in Manchester at Coty and United respectively, we're going to see lots of movement with Pep and Jose wanting to make their mark on the squad. I reckon a cheeky loan offer for Iheanacho and/or Rashford would be a decent option, selling Frazier Campbell and Chamakh to make room.

and there's the problem. who the hell would want to buy them?

Clinton is Clinton. I have known him for a long time, I know his mother... Simon Jordan

Lucas Perez (27) at Deportivo La Coruna. 17 goals in 36 games. Leicester reportedly interested as competition for Vardy.

Benteke might be on the loose at Liverpool. He was fabulous with Villa and plays the lone striker position well....

Yes!! Just came on here to suggest him. Would fit our style perfectly.

The best suggestion I've seen on here for quite some time.

Just watched his 2015/16 goals and assists. Now a bit more worried about playing Russia in the Euros. He is lethal in the air.

Caulker, Mason and Beranhino would definitely enrich the quality of the squad

Well the first 2 would be two more one-England-cap wonders to go along with Campbell and Kelly. How about adding Jake Livermore, John Ruddy and Martin Jarvis
