Wouldn't mind either of them, but I can see possibly Diame joining us if Hull don't get promoted. Wijnaldum would most likely go to a PL club in the top half. Wijnaldum hasn't showed any fight recently in a tough situation for Newcastle. Can't see any of the Newcastle or Villa players going to top clubs.

Apart from Tim Krul and possibly Shelvey, what have any of those players done to make you think they would work at Palace. Jack Rodwell can't even get in the Sunderland team at the moment !! Shelvey is toxic - best avoided

What are the key positions that need strengthening? I would say goalkeeper is the only position that needs real strengthening in the first XI. After that I'd say we need competition down the spine, with one of those also able to fill in on the wing. So for me 4 signings: GK (big signing) - Krul / Begovic We spent about £27m in 14/15 and £20m this season. So I guess those signing could be done for around £35-43 which is a reasonable increase; about £15m for the GK, 5-8ish for CB, 4-5 for CM, 10-15 for the forward. Ward - Dann - Delaney - Souare McArthur - Cabaye - Puncheon J.Campbell/Moses - Wickham - Bolasie Subs: Speroni, Muemba, Jedinak, Fletcher/Mason, Sako, Zaha, Gayle I think that would put us in a good place where we have a settled first XI with an undoubted number 1 and plenty of competition in the midfield and on the wing. Doubt we will be changing the keeper. What makes you say that? I was surprised we seemed to be linked with half a dozen keepers over the last two transfer windows, so maybe there's some substance in that is a position we're scouting? Not sure why everyone is suggesting Krul...isn't he broken?

maybe mccarthy Thing is, we tend to struggle when selling our fringe players. Especially as we payed 3.5 million for him, we won't get that back.

He's out for this season with a tendon injury. A very good keeper though, with even world cup experience, so he'll be of use to someone when he returns.
