Gotta say that was the best i've seen England play in ages. Surely this team can't be far off the starting line up in Euro's. sorry but Rooney and Wilshire should be on the bench. Alli who was the best player on the pitch tbee other night,Dyer and Kaneare the future. Well done Hodgson. please please start this side in the euro's

I have read that Hodgson appears to have guaranteed Wilshere a place in his Euro 2016 squad even if he does not play a single game for Arsenal this season. That should not be the case and the midfielder should be left at home if he cannot prove his match fitness before the tournament. I understand that Hodgson will be naming his squad on 12th May.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football. |

You need to blend experience with youth, can't have too much of a young naive team, an exiting set of players but where are the leaders? Milners a good athlete and a workhorse, dependable and you need players who do the stuff you don't see, closing down etc

He's hugely experienced, won titles domestically, and a very good role model for some of the younger players.

Odd acclaim for the England team here. Granted it was a stunning victory, but they were 2-0 in the first place. It was a great performance and display of ability and character to come back but there should also be concern at being 2-0. I doubt opposition will be quite so generous with their leads in the actual tournament. Of course on the plus side, England actually scoring goals against a reasonable team shocker.

We've gone from having loads of really good centre backs but no-one creative to vice-versa. Can't see us getting to a final with mediocrity like Smalling starting.
