Young fella called David Stevens, he was in the same batch as Southgate, Rodgers and Osborn etc.
I chatted to him at a couple of my wife's work do's as he was going out with her mate. I remember him being gutted because the above 3 were given their chance in the 1st team and he wasn't
Good lad though, he got me a signed football when I broke my leg

Gareth Davies was decent. Didn't he play in the Hopkin Looking to Curl one final?

I remember one match we scored in, he was near the goal and when it went in he was screaming celebrating in the defenders face. How the defender didn't react I don't know but I think that Davis was so pumped he was bordering on an Incredible Hulk moment and the defender just went all submissive

He did indeed. Disappeared after our promotion.

Jamie Vincent anyone?

Yes he did. Remember him after the final whistle coming over to the fans with his arm around Hopkins screaming "Gingerrrrrrrrrrr" and pointing at their respective heads.

Although I'm pretty sure we signed him from Reading for about £150k so I wouldn't count him as a promising youth or whatever

Neil Banfield- highly rated youth player, but never broke into first team. Now, I believe, a coach in the Arsenal youth system.

Yeah already mentioned him, used to keep Zaha out of the under 18 team... funny old game football.
