Some surprising criticism of Naismith on this thread... Let's put it this way he would be a massive upgrade on anything we currently have.

I don't think some appreciate what a good player he is. Highly intelligent and clever centre forward or can sit just off a front man.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

I agree but would add that he can also play out wide.Someone on HOL suggested we bid £7 Mill - I wouldn't pay that amount for him.

Given our current status and steady careful progress by way of club development, Naismith is just the right type of player to logically go for.

A big yes! Think he scored a hat-trick vs Chelsea (yeah, I know) this season. A niffy little player, hardworking, no primadonna and always an eye for a goal. Would be a great signing!

Everton have scored 18 goals in their last 7 games (Includes 2-0 away win at Middlesbrough in 'Capital One' Cup) so they are hardly short of goals in recent games.

I mean the last 2 games that is a lifetime for Martinez who feels that a draw with Norwich is cruelty if Jerome had scored the open goal it would have been Armageddon 2

What are fans thinking of Naismith now given Bamford return to Chelski and likely selling of Campbell & Gayle?

Bad news for us- thought Gayle might go there for around the same, freeing up some much needed cash for Remy/Slimani/whoever.
