With the performance of Origi last night and the fact that Sturridge and Firmino look to be ahead of Benteke in Klopp's plans, perhaps we could get Benteke on loan from January? FFS its only the 8th.!!!!

No thanks. We have Campbell and Gayle. Give both a good run when injury free and they will score 25+ goals between them by the end of the season. Benteke not even close to Campbell and Gayle level.
More worryingly, his profile page says he's about to become a dad. Those genes being passed down a generation? Fcuk me. Of course I was taking the piss. So was the opening post? I think the original post was quite sincere.

Klopp doesn't seem to rate Benteke so I actually think we could buy him never mind loan. Another possibility for the summer I think would be Sturridge. He and Klopp clearly don't see eye to eye. Injuries are obviously a concern but.................... Sturridge gets loaned to Liverpool from the hospital every now and again so that won't change. Benteke I think would be good for us but would be come?

Just watching the Exeter game, Scouse 2-1 down and looking at Benteke, I am wondering why he is playing in this game. It's like this is his moment to prove himself to the scouse. Even though he has obvious talent, he's not really standing out. I don't think he will be at Liverpool for much longer and what better place for him to come than Palace. Stranger things have happened.. Would be good for them and us but that doesn't mean it will happen... At all.

Hearing from a mate who is close to a big sponsor of he club, that this is going to happen as a permanent deal. Guy is pretty adamant apparently.

If it happens then we aren't anywhere near relegation next season. I'd be so confident going into the new season even if this was our only signing. We obviously have other areas that need improving but this guy will get us 10-20 goals guaranteed and that will mean at least 12th place without any other work done. That just makes too much sense so it won't happen.

Benteke is an excellent footballer but I am not sure about his temperament. There were problems at Villa and Liverpool has hardly been a success

Thus far I haven't heard of any interest in Benteke. We already have a "Target Man" in Wickham and any addition is likely to be a player in a different mould.

David Sullivan said this week they were making a £25m+ bid for a forward in France. This is known to be Michy Batusiyi. I highly doubt they will get him. If they don't, he said that they would be making another £25m+ bid for an english based centre forward. This is rumoured to be Benteke.
