2-0 Brighton. You really had to be there to witness the arrogance of the b******s before kick off. The result was so far beyond doubt. The opera singer, the Wembley placards, the clappers. Bunch of c***s. Allow this [Link] to refresh your memory. Edited by JL85 (31 Jan 2016 4.24pm)

16 November 1963 Palace 8 Harwich & Parkeston 2. I was born in Harwich but grew up in Croydon where I became a Palace fanatic. One of the first matches I ever watched. Shame there's no video, it was a cracking match.

Lots I guess but seeing... "Wrexham 2 Crystal Palace 4" on the evening news in 1977 has to be up there...followed by "Mansfield 1 Wrexham 0" on the Saturday....which meant we were up....and we haven't been at that level since.... Edited by The Sash (02 Feb 2016 3.36pm)

Exactly, I think some of the heart breaking results are amongst our most important ones. They are what has made most of us realistic and grounded rather than behaving like entitled plastics. I feel like I have been afforded a much better appreciation of football and enjoyed our successful phases a lot more because of all the crap times we've had!

4-3 v Liverpool, 1990. I can't imagine it will ever be bettered. Being written off by the whole country (including some of our own supporters), the history between the two clubs during that season, and the whole up and down emotion of the game. And beating the best at that time. The most satisfying and emotional I've ever felt after a Palace victory.
