Either would be superb. Both would be very difficult to attract. Expect somebody from the French league.

No worries on just making it to a few games. I live in Belgium and get to about 10 games a year. It is well worth the trip... Quote NICK THE EAGLE at 11 May 2015 6.40am

Ings gets my vote as well although no disrespect to Austin who is a great player. First time posting here. Finally got a season ticket next season for me, the wife and 2 kids although living in the Midlands i doubt I'll get to more than 6 matches.

Agree with your thought process, but what would Everton do with him? They already have Lukaku and Ings has already said he does not want to go somewhere and play partime or not at all. If he were to come to Palace, we would give him playing time and along side Muzza or Charlie Austin (younger version of Muzza), they could really reek havic on the league, especially with our wingers. Now all we have to do is fix our midfield, back four, and goalkeeping, and we will be in business next season. Quote Palace in the Blood at 11 May 2015 9.05am
Ings contract does expire this season but because of his age he will not be available for free. Both Bournemouth and Burnley will want maximum compensation as there is bound to be a buy on clause. Considering the commpensation Hull paid for Ince I don't think £5-£7 million will be too far of a settlement figure as i don't think anyone will want to go to tribunal. Ings certainly has bigger clubs interested and as others have pointed out he may not be first choice so he may decide to go for a smaller club where he is first choice. So I think Palace should try to get him but I think the chances are low. If he was to go to a mid table club I think a more established club like Everton would be more likely

I'd prefer Austin to Ings.
Ings deal makes real financial sense for where we are right now.

Ings will be off to Liverpool as a free transfer. With the way that Rodgers wasted £80m last summer, I can't see the Liverpool board giving him too much more this summer, so this is ideal for them. Not sure where Charlie Austin will go though, I think we would be priced out of the situation. You could see him going clubs like Stoke, Southampton, Swansea or perhaps even Spurs.

Wouldn't mind Ings: hard-working, knows how to put the ball in the net, seems to be a down-to-earth guy and with Zaha and/or an other winger than Bolasie would be a perfect match. With Glenn as mentor and back-up, the Eagles will be flying.

I'd go with Austin. Still need that guy that can put it in the net. I'm not sold on Ings. Austin could be a bidding war though and we're not likely to win that. Anyway, got to trust AP at this point.

According to reports i saw it was by agreement at 2.3 million reduced to 1.6 million if hull are relegated so that could e interesting. Ince was not a success for us on loan so had no real epl experience. ings has been a success in a technically poor burnley side

Liverpool have cast glances in the direction of Ings. We are more likely to get Nedum Onouha from QPR !

Ings would be a fool to go to liverpool. He isn't ready for such an environment yet.
