It's sad to see that people don't look further than the BBC...

Well, our team sheet will be a bit thin if he has any influence over the team sheet.

Exactly! He's just a milder version of Nick Griffin.

That's just a statement of mindlessness.

There is no parallel with the BNP and it's people like you coming out with comments like that who lower the value of balanced comment.

That is a reasonable comment. However, they are Nick Griffin's party of choice come his vote on election day. You have to wonder why he is attracted to them.

You cannot compare Nick Griffin ex BNP and NF and now bankrupt all-round cock to Nigel Farage, the fact that you say he is voting UKIP is immaterial (not sure that’s true anyway). Nigel Farage was a paid up member of the Conservatives and don’t be surprised next week that he tells UKIP voters to vote Tory in certain seats.

It is true. He is definitely voting UKIP. I would say like attracts like but even I know he is more extreme than them. However, Farage was excluded from his class at Dulwich College aged 18 for 'loud racism' so they may have something not particularly pleasant in common that the more benign UKIP voters would rather ignore or gloss over.

It's a bit meaningless.....Before Ukip he would have voted Tory....It means little.

I'm sure the Communist party would encourage people to vote Labour.....It's not a point with any substance.....It's as silly as calling Miliband, 'red ed'.

Ukip's approach to immigrants just isn't comparable to the BNP.

The BNP want no non white immigration.....indeed they don't agree with non whites being British.

Ukip aren't anti immigrant of whatever colour but instead anti no border control....Something a lot of Tory voters and a few Labour supporters agree with anyway.

Ukip only want what every country had before 'freedom of movement'.

A Ukip government would have immigration....Sure the party has racists, just like Labour have fifth columnists.

I don't go around calling the Labour party anti British because it contains party members who are.

But that is the point. He isn't voting Tory. He is voting for a party he - Nick Griffin ex-BNP leader - must relate to the most. Not a vote I would want to be associated with for sure and certainly worth pondering as to why he is voting UKIP.

You just kind of repeated your point Kermy.

Ah well....If you want to think that because Hitler liked to paint that there's something wrong with painting then fair enough.
