No chance of this ever happening. Cabaye is a great player, but wages would be the main stumbling block.
It's whether he wants to come. Firstly that's three words and secondly it doesn't start until the 2016/17 season.
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

It would be a great sign of intent if we did sign him. There would have to be some almighty signing on fee to keep the wages affordable. The day Lombardo signed was one of the best days of my life, let's hope we can do some serious business this summer. Cabaye, Austin and Van Dijk would cause a few palpitations!

Goes against everything CPFC2010 look for in a player purchase. Can't see it happening.
It was my dream to play for Palace and to make my debut. I've always played for the club so if I'm playing here, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. - John Bostock (Nov 2007) |

He is not old though and still think he would carry considerable resale value. We also know he play's very well at selhurst...

Money will talk in the end - I doubt he will leave a club that is paying at least £150,000 a week.
