I thought Miliband shaded it but there was a definite bias by the presenters. The woman, Burley, kept interrupting Miliband and the questions were far more personal. Paxman was a total t***.

I'm no UKIP voter but Farage will destroy these two if this is them at their peak.

Wouldn't take a lot to destroy Miliband !

I wish they would have Farage there and scrutinised about the UKIP "Policies" on matters other than the EU and immigration ! Would love to see that ! Probably make it up on the hoof.

Don't be so ridiculous. He was a total embarrassment but I never expected anything else. That said, Cameron wasn't at his best during the Paxman interrogation.

Would love to continue this debate but I am off to HQ now !!!!

Farage has more charisma than the two combined, he'd dominate them completely.

Given that Cameron brought every topic back to the economy its a bit rich to say about UKIPs policies.

Burley is a typical Murdoch news whore - sold her integrity, impartiality and soul for the Murdoch shilling...odious little weasel of a woman..

I'm no Labour of Miliband fan but I thought the questions for him were a bit harsh, making him out to be a bit of a muppet rather than talking politics. Kind of like bullying on TV. Oh God, I'm sympathising with Labour - is this how they reel you in?

I felt the same. Still not voting for them though.

You keep believing it. He actually showed a little passion (something our politicians rarely show) something that slimey Cameron doesn't know how to do.

Walking around a bit and talking loudly isn't passion. Passion is having a vision for the country and sticking to it. Hate to say it, that's why Farage comes across as the most passionate by miles.

Miliband has no vision, he's a patch-up reactionary politician.

"Oooo look at energy prices going up, let's freeze them!" They drop.

"Millions more will be unemployed!" They aren't.

"Inflation will go through the roof!" It didn't.

I thought Miliband came across well in terms of standing up to a ridiculous line of questioning from Paxman (who was a self-important tw*t throughout), but did he say anything of any substance whatsoever? Of course he f*cking didn't. He was full of rhetoric, using phrases like "Let me be clear about this" before being exactly the opposite. I thought it was a painful watch all round.

Was overall a pretty pi$$ poor waste of my time and no one performed particularly well. But Miliband definitely shaded it. Was much much better performing against Paxman and held himself up well against Burley who was fairly obviously biased.

In the Q&A Cameron definitely did better, especially when thrown some very soft questions, but the damage had already been done.

I think Labour will be very happy with last night. At worst a mild loss against a demonstrably better public speaker who people expected to walk away with a convincing victory. It definitely showed why Cameron wimped out of a one-on-one debate.

He did show passion and spirit when Paxman kept goading him. Cameron came across like the Spitting Image puppet of Kenneth Baker.
