Great view from Cardiff - shame I didn't have any spex! My phone's camera managed to show a blazing sun next to an eclipsed sun. Have no idea how that happened! Great view from Cardiff - shame I didn't have any spex! My phone's camera managed to show a blazing sun next to an eclipsed sun. Have no idea how that happened!

I heard 500+ million years too, I guess the moon moving by 4cms a year is pretty slow. The moon's gravitational pull does have a significant effect on how Earth functions so again I concur with Pefwin that change will be fundamental and probably the end of us if we haven't been wiped out already.

I heard 500+ million years too, I guess the moon moving by 4cms a year is pretty slow.

The moon's gravitational pull does have a significant effect on how Earth functions so again I concur with Pefwin that change will be fundamental and probably the end of us if we haven't been wiped out already.
