I was there for a brief stay about 15 years ago. After I was charged around a tenner for half a lager, I went to the toilet and p1ssed all over the floor. Hope this helps.

The 2 places recommended to me were Harry's Bar and Florian's. They also turned out to be the most expensive refreshments I've ever purchased at €30 for a couple of drinks, and €12 for a hot chocolate respectively.
Over the years patrons of Harry's Bar have included Ernest Hemingway, Charlie Chaplin, Orson Welles, Aristotle Onassis, Alfred Hitchcock and Woody Allen, am. While you are unlikely to see any of those guys there nowadays (Woody Allen's still a possibility though), who knows who may be there this weekend? Pretty sure I saw David Mellor. Good luck.

I was 11 in 1965 when I was last there! I can remember a glass blowing factory behind the main square, and loads of ice cream parlours and pigeons in the square itself. Hope this helps.
