If you live in Scotland, you can vote SNP and in the not too distant future they will achieve their aim of independence eventually, whilst in the meantime blackmailing the rest of us into more and more concessions..... so your vote will count. For the rest of the UK, it's almost a waste of time. Labour - will fcuk up the economy again by overspending. I will probably vote UKIP nonetheless as I believe the UK infrastructure cannot withstand continual mass immigration, and EU interference. The polls suggest a stalemate again like 2010.
And the SNP would demand huge amounts of English tax payers cash to fund the Scottish socialist dream. Our great nation's hopes of avoiding a political and constitutional catastrophe in May rests on a clear majority of the electorate voting Conservative. Anyway I shall now keep out of his debate as I have been glancing at my 'Soapbox' !
In actual fact I am not discounting the fact that the 'Conservatives' could still get in with a slender majority and I am certainly NOT saying that because I am a "Dyed in the wool" Tory ! The polls don't indicate this at the present time but things could change in the full "Glare" of an election campaign.

Like the OP I live in a very Tory area. They will always hold these seats so all parties can really disregard such very safe seats - be they Tory or Labour. The only seats that matter are the few (comparatively) that change hands regularly. These are the seats that decide elections. Maybe 100,000 votes can swing it one way or the other. The other millions of votes don't really change anything.S OP vote for who you like, or close your eyes and make acr0ss, it won't change anything. However the fact that - if polls can be believed - the SNP are about to clean up north of the border will upset the normal pattern rather. I don't really care what the SNP do at Holyrood but the thought that they might have a major role in the UK government horrifies me. For that reason alone I hope that somehow the Torys can cobble together enough support to keep the SNP out.

Anyone except the looney lefties Millibland, Balls up, Harman/woman/person and all the other Red liberal Elites (The labour Party). Wooly jumper, sandal wearing (in their London Masions) bunch of w***ers. They are as far removed from ordinary working class people as is humanly possible. They are the reason people vote Tory (and UKIP)

Morning All, I am a first time voter, Never 'Studied' politics in an educational term but always watch Question time and listen to LBC I am really struggling to relate to any party at the moment; What is it you look for in a party? What swings you to vote for X / Y. There is a split within my family of Tories and UKIP and both have been pushed onto me but i do not wish to be swayed to vote in lieu of my parents / grandparents / uncle / aunts voting opinions. Its a big deal to me, as when i watched the 2010 elections i felt betrayed as the Lib dems turned their back on the younger generation by for what i see, plain balls***, via increasing their student fee's. I almost feel an instant dislike for the party and feel i will never vote for them. As for all the others, man i just do not know where to look, what to read, and how to make my decision. Sorry if this is boring and stuff but i am just seeking some help / advice! thanks in advance! Check out TUSC

Education, education, education.
The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money. |

I'm happy for Scotland to vote SNP and I am very pro Union, but if Scotland decides to vote for independence at some point in the future - so be it. What I don't want is an anti-Union party anywhere near SW1A 0AA. Why
