My spam folder has been inundated with scams/phishing lately.

Yes I've had the iTunes one, Nigerian inheritances, job offers etc.

Just delete and move on.

I get just as many chancers on my landline telephone, mostly from India.... especially the "Windows Technical Dept".

You can string them along for hours with a bit of gentle misunderstanding of their accents....

All good. Nothing bad.

Yeah, looks like it's doing the rounds again.

At first glance, it looks very authentic.

I've had a couple very recently, the latest one just this morning.

I always delete them, they do look very believable.

I've get these e mail once a month for about 3 months now and don't even live in the UK reported to ITunes but still get them. If you look at the sending address it's always from your own address it' bollox

As long as you just delete them and don't click on them you won't need to change your password.

They come into my inbox saying sent from my name.....so that's obviously not legit. I used Apple Store and the receipts for those emails say from Apple.

As a reminder to all they are still at it.

I've had two calls from 'Windows Technical Department' in the past 3 days. The first I chatted to for 16 mins after asking me to look at EVENTVWR. Even told her she couldn't speak to my son as he was downstairs having a w***. Got bored with that call

Todays caller ( from Liverpool- yeah right !!) called me by a previous owner of the phone line. Strung along saying house windows were sticking and could he send someone to fix.
